Cascade Symphony Orchestra awards scholarships of $2,000 to $3,000 to graduating high school seniors from Edmonds, Mukilteo, Northshore and Shoreline School Districts (home-school and private-school students living in these districts are also invited to apply). Applicants must plan to continue their musical education in college (though they are not required to major in music). Scholarships are presented at the orchestra’s final concert of the season.

Edmonds School District’s Summer Music School
The Cascade Symphony Orchestra donated $1,000 in scholarship funds to Summer Music School 2012. Summer Music School is sponsored by the Edmonds School District’s Visual and Performing Arts Department.
This exciting program offers an assortment of music performance and exploratory opportunities for students entering 5th through 12th grade.
The donation is in keeping with CSO’s educational mission of offering local students opportunities for musical development.
