The Cascade Symphony Orchestra, in its 63rd year as Snohomish county’s oldest community orchestra, is partnering with the Edmonds Waterfront Center to present a new chamber music series starting this Fall. The performance will take place in the large room at the Waterfront Center overlooking beautiful Puget Sound.
The concert will include music by Mozart, Beethoven, Dvorak and a bit of holiday music, for wind octet, piano quintet, brass and mixed trios and percussion ensemble. These more intimate concerts, in which Cascade Symphony members perform in a variety of small ensembles, give audience members an opportunity to hear Cascade Symphony instrumentalists in a chamber music context.
The concert is 75 minutes without intermission.
