CSO’s Virtual Children’s Concert: Carnival of the Animals

Experience Camille Saint-Saëns’ lively Carnival of the Animals brought to life with music performed by Cascade Symphony Orchestra and Cascade Percussion Ensemble, and narration by Dave Dolacky! This presentation also features two participatory music lessons suitable for young children, and a dazzling performance by cellist William Miguel Johnson, the winner of Cascade Symphony Orchestra’s 2020 Rising Star Competition.

This presentation features Bizet’s Suite No. 1 from Carmen, Brahms’ Intermezzo in E major for piano, Scott Joplin’s “New Rag” arranged for string quartet, and Weber’s thrilling Clarinet Concerto No. 2 performed by clarinetist Christopher Sereque.

CSO’s Virtual May Concert, “Tchaikovsky’s First Piano Concerto” (originally streamed on Monday, May 3, 2021)

Join the Cascade Symphony family and Classical KING FM 98.1 personality Dave Beck for the final virtual concert of CSO’s 2020-21 Season! This concert features the orchestra’s archival performance of Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1 with pianist George Fiore, Ravel’s String Quartet in F major arranged for marimba ensemble and played by Cascade Percussion Ensemble, and a new string quartet, commissioned by CSO and composed by Shanti Seidel Molina, based on Latin American folk music and performed by Constellation Musica.
